Story Time
For children entering Nursery 4 and Kindergarten
Join us for a summer filled with stories! Story Time is more than just reading—it’s a full sensory experience that brings stories to life. Through books, felt boards, puppets, and small props, children will discover the magic of storytelling. Each day, your child will explore stories through interactive art and sensory activities, igniting their curiosity and imagination and fueling and enriching their play. Campers will sew their own small stuffed animals, or “stuffies”, which will become part of their imaginative world in the giant dollhouse and block area. During Story Time, children will also be encouraged to tell their own stories, which will be recorded in a book so they can share them with others. Campers will act out their stories for one another during a group meeting time, building confidence and communication skills. Your child will even take stories outside on our weekly walking trips around the neighborhood and campus, telling stories under trees using rocks, sticks, and other found objects in nature to bring their narratives to life.
