Lab Adventurers
For children entering grades 3–8
Lab Adventurers offers an engaging, high-energy, and rewarding program based on core values of trust, communication, and teamwork. Throughout this experience, campers and staff alike enhance their leadership qualities and advance their cooperative skills and self-confidence through team challenges and group team-building. Our campers and staff are quick to connect and proudly return summer after summer, forging friendships and creating lasting memories. Come join us for a truly remarkable adventure!
Field Trips
Field trips are at the top of the list for favorite adventures at Lab Adventurers. Campers will visit some local and Chicagoland area attractions. We also use our very own beautiful campus and surrounding areas for some walking adventures. Campers go on age-specific field trips every Tuesday and Thursday.* Campers in grades 6–8 will have an opportunity to attend our traditional overnight camping trip to Camp Duncan during Session III.
Session III
July 22 Sky Zone Trampoline Park (Grades 3–5) and Camp Duncan (Grades 6-8)
July 24 Medieval Times (Grades 3–5) and Great America (Grades 6–8)
July 29 Haunted Trails
July 31 Deep River Water Park
Swimming
We are excited to partner with M3 Aquatics to provide an excellent swim program including lessons for children of all ability levels. Swimming takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday weekly. The swim program will have low student-instructor ratios to ensure each child gets individualized attention while learning team-building skills. Campers will participate in a balanced aquatics experience, including games, lessons, workouts, and fun!
Sports
We offer a variety of sports and fun activities based on our weekly themes. From basketball to soccer, Lab Adventurers take full advantage of Lab’s amazing facilities including multiple gyms, fields, playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, and more. Consistent with the core Lab Adventurers values, all activities promote an all-inclusive and cooperative group dynamic.
Camp Idol
Camp Idol is our end-of-session talent showcase. Groups work together to develop creative, energetic, and fun dance routines and other varying talents that they perform on the last day of the session in front of their fellow campers, staff, and an energetic crowd of fans.
Camp Activities
Lab Adventurers has something for everybody. We love to support our campers' passions and interests by offering a wide variety of classic camp activities, including but not limited to arts and crafts, cooking, theatre, and science.
