Earth Guardians Club
For children entering grades 3–5
Students will become champions of environmental stewardship in this class. They will gain an understanding of the important connections between humans and the Earth. Students will explore topics such as whale populations and the climate crisis through interactive activities and outdoor explorations. They will also learn about a day in the life of one of Earth's weirdest animals, participate in gratitude circles focusing on water as life, practice nature bathing (shinrin-yoku), and envision what our Earth could look like in 2050. The overarching goal is to instill in students a deeper appreciation for the animals and the Earth they live on and to foster a commitment to safeguarding their natural habitats.
