Comic Book Camp
For children entering grades 1–2
Welcome to Comic Book Camp, where young artists and storytellers dive into the colorful world of comics! This fun, hands-on class is designed for first- and second- graders who love to draw, create stories, and use their imagination to bring characters to life.! In this class, students will learn the basics of comic book creation, from sketching characters and building exciting stories to designing the pages in their book. We will explore how to use speech bubbles, action lines, and panel layouts to make their comics fun to read. Students will create their own superhero or adventure characters, learn to tell a story with pictures and some words, experiment with different mediums and work on mini-comic books that they will be proud to take home.! Whether your child is a budding artist or just loves to tell stories, this class will help them explore their creativity and develop skills in drawing, writing, and visual storytelling.
