Each day, students will enjoy an engaging professional chess lesson followed by supervised time to play with classmates. Students will grow their knowledge of the game—from the basics through opening theory, middle-game tactics, and endgame combinations. Studies suggest that playing chess increases IQ performance, and improves memory, analytical and critical thinking skills, problem-solving, responsibility, sportsmanship, social skills, and more.
