Description

Beginner Cello and Violin

For children entering grades 1–2

Introduce your child to the basics of violin and cello playing through the Suzuki method of education. The Suzuki Method originated in Japan and emphasizes repetition and review, listening, parental involvement, community learning, and beginning instruction at an early age. Students in this introductory course will learn how to hold their instruments, play beginner pieces, and experience the joy of music making with friends. Children must select either the cello or the violin. Rental from William Harris Lee & Co. is a requirement to participate.
