Pygame For children entering grades 6–8 Using Pygame, a powerful set of tools for Python game design, students will have a blast remaking the classic video game “Asteroids” and putting a modern “Among Us” twist on it! Key Skills students will build in class: Learning Pygame for Python, a powerful game creating toolset Recreating classic game-styles and concepts, as well as customizing the game with your own graphics Understanding and effectively applying Object Oriented Programming (OOP). No prior coding experience required. Session III: July 15–July 26 Afternoons: 1:30–3:30 p.m. Instructor: Code Advantage
Participants must be entering grades 6 to 8.
