For children entering grades 1–2

Hi-Five Sports Camp is back at Summer Lab! Since 1999, Hi-Five has provided safe, cutting-edge, skill-developing programs to Chicagoland kids. Just like our campers, we eat, sleep, and breathe sports. Our staff is filled with professional coaches, high school and college athletes, as well as local experienced P.E. teachers who promote the fundamentals through personalized instruction and positive reinforcement. We stress the importance of building self-esteem while always maintaining a sense of humor! Each camper will be placed on a team with an assigned coach. While on their teams, campers spend each day participating in a few of the major team sports like baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, lacrosse, or floor hockey. Campers will learn to develop their skills through “teaching stations” and gameplay. Please note: Campers do not play every sport every day. We rotate the sports on a daily and weekly basis. We will be providing group and individualized instruction to ensure each child is learning and improving at an age-appropriate level. No matter the skill level of the child, the goal remains the same: to have fun while learning the value of teamwork and good sportsmanship. We can't wait to start playing!
