Geology Rocks
For children entering grades 3–5
Love collecting rocks? Want to learn more about crystals? Ever wondered what types of fossils can be found in your backyard? Look no further! This class will give students the opportunity to learn about various rocks and fossils. As students investigate, they will record their observations in a field journal through illustration and note-taking. They will then be able to apply their knowledge to make inferences about geological processes. This class will utilize hands-on activities as well as field excursions. Come and find out why geology rocks!
