This class teaches how to play and host the 5th edition of the classic tabletop role-playing game, suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Dungeons & Dragons provides a spotlight for theatrical and improvisational role-playing of fantasy characters, challenging students to explore their creativity. It also offers opportunities to learn mathematics and board game tactics through its procedural character creation system and its turn-based resolution of encounters with monsters and a dangerous fantasy environment.
Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 8.
