This class focuses on basic hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and pressing slabs - all of which are widely applicable in making a variety of both sculptural (like a pretend bowl of noodles) and functional (like a real bowl you can use for actual, edible noodles) objects. I’ll fire all the clay pieces in the kiln, then the students have several options for decorating the surface of their pieces - including food-safe glazes. Materials fee of $100 will be applied.
Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 5.
Registration starts on 10/20/2025 and ends on 10/27/2025.
