Young filmmakers learn to tell amazing stories using video cameras and computers! Students create their own movie ideas and make short films about things they love and care about. Using kid-friendly cameras and tablets, they'll learn how to film great shots, add good lighting, record clear sound, and edit their movies. Students work together as a team, taking turns being the director, camera person, and editor. They'll research their topics, interview people, and turn their ideas into exciting videos that others will want to watch. By the end of the program, students will have their own collection of finished movies, plus new computer and video skills they can use for school projects and just for fun!
Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 5.
Registration starts on 08/19/2025 and ends on 08/26/2025.
