Embark on a wild adventure into the animal kingdom through art, science, and imagination! In Animal Menagerie: Wild Adventures for Young Explorers, 1st and 2nd graders will discover amazing creatures by creating vibrant habitats, sculpting animals, and designing nature-inspired projects. This hands-on class blends creativity with biology, helping students explore life cycles, adaptations, and habitats in fun, age-appropriate ways. Kids will craft butterfly life cycle wheels, sculpt fossils, and build animal homes using recycled materials. They’ll also design imaginative critters, sort animals by traits and environments, and experiment with a variety of textures and materials. Along the way, they’ll build fine motor skills, think like scientists, and express their creativity—no live animals required. Just curious minds, busy hands, and a love for the natural world!
Participants must currently be in grades 1 to 2.
Registration starts on 08/19/2025 and ends on 08/26/2025.
